The best community platforms for fitness and sports clubs
A club is more than its next session. It's who's a member, who's waiting to get in, who hasn't shown up in a month, and how you reach all of them.
We compared community platforms on membership control, communication, payments, discovery and how much of your member data you can actually use.

Watch out: INR isn't a supported payment currency.
04
Strava: Best for endurance clubs

Questions
It depends on the club. Spond suits teams with regular fixtures and parents; Strava suits running and cycling clubs; Hiive suits clubs in India that want curated membership, paid sessions with payouts in rupees and local discovery in one place.
On Hiive, set your Hive to invite-only so membership is limited to people you invite, or make individual events invite-only. WhatsApp groups and Strava clubs can also require admin approval to join.
WhatsApp doesn't let you export a member list — only the chat history as a text file. The practical route is to share an invite link to your new home in the group and keep the WhatsApp group for a transition period.
Try Hiive with your real events. Free for the first couple of months.
