Limits to know before you start
- Downloads need a one-time access code sent to your email.
- Phone numbers are only included if you collected them at registration.
- API access is a Luma Plus feature, so automated exports need a paid plan.
- Tell guests where your events are moving before importing their details anywhere new.
Moving your community somewhere new
- 01
Tell your members first. Say where you're moving, why, and when the old space will go quiet.
- 02
Keep the export safe. Only contact people in ways they agreed to, and follow data-protection law such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- 03
Set up the new home before you announce it: your first event, your Hive, and who can join.
- 04
Run one event in both places, then point everyone to the new link.
